43' Curved Driveway Addition — Champions Point, Henryville IN

📍 Champions Point, Henryville, IN

Custom 43-foot curved driveway addition in the Champions Point neighborhood — full sequence from sub-base prep through final broom finish. Form-set to follow the existing sidewalk line, compacted gravel base, full #4 rebar grid tied at every intersection (mandatory on a curved pour to prevent radius cracking), and a broom finish for traction in wet weather. The homeowner picked up an extra parking spot and a clean curb-appeal upgrade in a single project. Curved driveways are noticeably harder to lay out and pour than rectangular slabs — every form-board has to bend evenly, every section of rebar has to follow the radius, and the finish has to stay uniform around the curve. Done right the first time.

Clarksville Driveway Extension + Custom Concrete Pads

📍 Clarksville / Jeffersonville, IN

Custom driveway extension plus dedicated concrete pads for the trash cans and the AC unit. The homeowner picked up extra parking, the runoff now routes cleanly away from the slab instead of pooling, and the finished pour adds real curb appeal. Function, protection, and a sharp finished look - done right the first time.

43' Curved Retaining Wall, Curb-Appeal Landscaping & Drainage

A full week of work across Southern Indiana. The centerpiece: a 43' curved retaining wall in Cobalt wall block with decorative Alabama Sunset river rock, natural Spaghetti Rock boulders, and fresh plantings (Yuccas, Sahara Blackbird, and a miniature Bonfire Georgia Peach tree) — a clean, low-maintenance landscape built for lasting curb appeal and value. We also installed a 62' J-Channel French drain to manage surface water, and completed extensive grading followed by fresh soil, seed, and straw to restore each yard, plus concrete step and masonry work on additional properties. Built on Faith. Sealed with Quality.

Barry's Reflection Garden — Community Rebuild

📍 New Albany, IN

Twelve-week community revitalization alongside Hoosier Action and the New Albany community. A neglected lot on State Street was transformed into a public reflection space named for Barry Duncan — the kind of work that starts with demolition and grading and ends with neighbors being able to sit, think, and remember somewhere quiet. Cornerstone's part of the project covered the hardscape and site work: full concrete installation, drainage to keep the space usable year-round, and the civil prep underneath that makes a public garden last. Twelve weeks, several crews cycling through, and a lot of coordination with Hoosier Action on layout and memorial elements. Projects like this are part of why we do this trade. Not every job is about repairing damage — some are about building something new for people who need a place to process grief. This one meant a lot to the whole crew.

Mold Remediation

📍 Southern Indiana

Mold remediation this week — treated and removed mold, then traced the moisture back to the source so it does not come back. Remediation without fixing the leak is a temporary fix; healthier indoor air is the goal.
